Welcome to Goodiz From Dubai. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.goodizfromdubai.shop) and the services we provide, including the facilitation of supermarket product orders from the UAE to Sri Lanka and the operation of our online shop for customers in Sri Lanka.
By accessing our Website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Definitions
- Customer: Refers to any individual or entity who places an order through our website.
- UAE Products: Refers to products sourced from supermarkets in the UAE based on Customer requests.
- Online Shop Products: Refers to the curated selection of products available directly through our online shop for Sri Lankan customers.
- Monthly Shipment: Refers to the consolidated shipment of orders from the UAE to Sri Lanka that occurs on a predetermined schedule.
- Payment Gateway: Refers to the online payment processing system integrated into our website.
Account Registration
- To place orders and use our services, you must register an account on our website.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Services
UAE Supermarket Orders
- Order Placement: Customers may place orders for products from UAE supermarkets through our website by specifying the product details and brands required.
- Order Processing: We will procure the requested products from UAE supermarkets on behalf of the Customer.
- Monthly Shipment Schedule: Orders will be consolidated and shipped on a predetermined monthly schedule, which will be published on our website.
- Estimated Arrival: Products are estimated to arrive and be cleared in Sri Lanka approximately 4-6 weeks from the stipulated date of departure from the UAE.
Online Shop
- Product Availability: The online shop offers a curated selection of products that are physically available in our Sri Lanka store.
- Stock Limitations: All products displayed in our online shop are subject to availability.
- Product Information: We strive to provide accurate product information, including images, descriptions, and prices. However, we do not guarantee that product information is error-free.
Ordering Process
- Selection: Customers may select products either from our online shop or by specifying UAE supermarket products.
- Order Confirmation: After placing an order, Customers will receive an order confirmation via email.
- Order Modifications: Order modifications may be requested within 24 hours of order placement, subject to our approval.
- Order Cancellation: Order cancellations must be requested within 48 hours of order placement and before payment is processed.
Payment
- Payment Methods: Payments must be made through our integrated online Payment Gateway.
- Payment Deadline: Full payment must be received at least 7 days before the stipulated date of departure from the UAE to allow sufficient time for purchasing products.
- Currency: All prices are listed in LKR and payments will be processed in the same currency.
- Pricing Structure:
- Product Cost: The actual cost of the products
- Shipping Fee: Cost of shipping from UAE to Sri Lanka
- Handling Fee: Fee for procurement, packaging, and processing
- Import Duties and Taxes: Any applicable customs duties and taxes
- Delivery Fee (if applicable): Fee for delivery to the Customer’s location in Colombo or suburbs
- Price Changes: Prices for UAE products may vary from those advertised due to market fluctuations. Significant price changes will be communicated to the Customer before procurement.
Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping Schedule: Orders will be shipped from the UAE on predetermined dates each month, which will be clearly communicated on our website.
- Delivery Options:
- Self-Collection: Customers may collect their orders from our designated location in Sri Lanka.
- Delivery: Delivery service is available within Colombo and suburban areas for an additional fee.
- Delivery Timeframe: For delivery orders, we aim to deliver within 07 business days after the shipment arrives in Sri Lanka.
- Delivery Limitations: Delivery is currently limited to Colombo and suburban areas only.
- Failed Delivery: If we are unable to deliver due to incorrect address information or the Customer’s unavailability after reasonable attempts, additional delivery charges may apply for rescheduled delivery.
Product Quality and Returns
- Quality Assurance: We strive to ensure all products are of good quality and within their shelf life at the time of procurement.
- Product Inspection: Customers are advised to inspect products upon receipt.
- Return Policy:
- Damaged Products: Products damaged during transit may be eligible for replacement or refund if reported within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
- Incorrect Products: Products that do not match the Customer’s order may be eligible for replacement or refund if reported within 48 hours of receipt.
- Perishable Products: Due to the nature of certain products, returns for perishable items may not be accepted.
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain items including but not limited to personal care products, food items that have been opened, and clearance items are non-returnable.
Import Regulations and Restrictions
- Compliance: All orders must comply with Sri Lankan import regulations and restrictions.
- Prohibited Items: Customers may not order items that are prohibited for import into Sri Lanka. A non-exhaustive list of prohibited items will be available on our website.
- Customs Clearance: We will handle customs clearance procedures for all shipments. However, we are not responsible for any delays caused by customs inspections or additional requirements imposed by customs authorities.
- Import Duties and Taxes: Any import duties, taxes, or other charges imposed by Sri Lankan customs authorities are the responsibility of the Customer and will be included in the final price or charged separately if assessed after payment.
Intellectual Property
- Ownership: All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Goodiz From Dubai and its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for personal and non-commercial purposes.

- Termination by Customer: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our customer service.
- Termination by Company: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our services, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.
- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
